I wanted to love this novel, especially given how much I enjoyed the sneak peek chapters. Given that I went in with fevered visions of futuristic dystopian awesomeness, it's not surprising my overall reaction ended up being "decent, but not nearly as spectacular as I'd hoped." Not to say there's anything wrong with All These Things I've Done
, it's a perfectly respectable addition to the YA dystopian field. Unfortunately this particular subgenre has reached saturation and making an impression becomes much more difficult.
