Took so long to read 'cause I was waiting for a replacement copy from the publisher. My original (hardcover) copy was missing a sheaf of pages and stopped at page 186, only to pick up again at the beginning of the next chapter (roughly) twenty pages later. Blargh.
I would have liked more information about Mary's later life, rather than an overview of her quest to compile Shelley's poems, plus her quest to garner respectability for herself and their sole surviving child, but overall a fascinating look at the story behind the creation of Frankenstein
and its tormented creator.
