Full disclosure: ARC copy, received as a Bookmooch trade
This one never got off the ground for me. I understand what Ms. Ostow was trying to create with the repetition in her free verses, unfortunately it just ended up being a lot of distracting noise. I thought the story would go into the main character's reaction to the murders, but the entire book was build up to flat, unsatisfying conclusion.
I've heard the author is working on a sequel which follows the aftermath of the crimes, but I haven't decided whether or not I'll take a chance on reading it.
